DPL FAQ's

  • What age groups will BSC field teams for the DPL in?

    BSC will have team competing in the U13, U14, U15, U16, U17 and U18/U19 age groups.

  • Will BSC's DPL teams play in the state CSA league as well as DPL?

    Yes, DPL teams will play in CSA league.  League level will be determined on a team by team basis.

  • Will BSC's DPL teams play in State Cup or Presidents Cup?

    This will be determined on a team by team basis.  Directors will work closely with team coaches to determine the best option for each team, wheter it be to participate in State Cup, Presidents Cup, or another alternative.

  • Will players on DPL teams be eligible to play in GA games?

    The DPL program is the second teir of elite player programming for BSC's girls program.  DPL players may be rostered on GA rosters depending on the need of GA teams.  Not all DPL players will be dual rostered. This is handled on a team by team and player by player basis.

  • What is the DPL Player Identification process?

    DPL player identification will take place in line with Blast Competitive team formation.  Non-current BSC (external) players may express interest in playing for BSC by filling out the appropriate interest form linked on the player identification page.  Current BSC players will go through player placement as normal.  Players who express interest in the GA program but are not offered a spot may be asked to accept a roster spot on a DPL or Blast Competitive team instead.  


    All players will need to register for BSC Player Placement, which will open soon.

  • When will roster decisions be made?

    Players will not be formally offered a roster spot for any DPL or Blast Competitive team prior to the Tuesday after Memorial Day annually.  This is to maintain eligibility to participate in CSA leagues.

  • What is the expected frequency of travel for DPL teams?

    BSC will be a part of the DPL's Mountain Conference.  We anticipate between 4-6 out-of-state travel instances.

  • Will DPL teams participate in in-state tournaments?

    DPL teams typically participate in in-state showcase and pre-season tournaments. This is determined on a team by team basis, and is dependent on the specific circumstances of each team. Most will still compete in either the Broomfield Shootout or College Showcase of the Rockies, both of which are hosted by BSC.

  • Are the uniforms different for GA vs DPL vs Blast Competitive teams?

    Uniforms for Girls Academy vs DPL vs Blast Competitive teams are nearly identical, with just one additional (GA) patch on the GA uniforms, and one patch on DPL uniforms.  As this will be the second year of the two year uniform cycle, any players new to GA or DPL will be able to bring their uniform into the BSC office to have the required patch applied at no extra cost if they already own the uniform kit.

  • Is the DPL a year long program?

    Yes, there will be team activities throughout the year for all DPL teams. During the high school season, the activities will be reduced to allow for high school play for U15-U19 age groups.  Games during high school season are unavoidable due to the different high school season through the Mountain Conference.

  • Can DPL players play for their high school teams?

    BSC supports players playing for their high school teams, and the DPL allows for this. 

  • Will there be one or two teams for the 2004 and 2005 age groups?

    There will be one combined team for the DPL program that will compete at 2004/2005's.  There will also be a GA team as well as Blast Competitive teams.  

  • What is the cost to play for BSC's DPL program?

    Pricing will be released in early April for BSC's DPL program, as well as all other programs.
