Broomfield Soccer Club runs two upper level programs for players U13 and older, the Academy Program and the Blast Competitive Program.  Players in the U11-U12 age groups all play in the Pre-Academy Program.

The Broomfield Soccer Club Academy consists of the top 1-2 teams in each age group from U13 through U19.  Teams compete in national or regional level leagues, and participate in advanced out-of-state tournaments and showcases.  Teams may also compete in the state league, state cup competitions and in-state tournaments on a team-by-team basis.

The Broomfield Soccer Club competitive soccer program, commonly know as "Broomfield Blast", is available to players from U13-U19 (those born in the years 2004-2010 for the 2022-2023 season).  The focus of the competitive soccer program is twofold - individual player development and team development.  These are complimentary goals and work toward our mission of developing young athletes through the game of soccer and the life lessons it provides. Teams in the Blast Competitive Program participate in the state league and local tournaments.   

The Broomfield Soccer Club Pre-Academy Program is for all players in the U11-U12 age groups.  It is the development program for both the Academy and Blast Competitive programs.  Teams compete in the state league and local tournaments, and play 9v9 soccer.

Teams are formed via the Broomfield Soccer Club team formation process, which includes a combination of annual player development monitoring, collaboration between team coaches, player movement between teams when developmentally appropriate, and formal tryouts.  The team formation process takes place annually during the week after Memorial Day (U11-U19 Girls, U11-U14 Boys) and in early July (HS Boys).  Additional information on the team formation process is posted annually on the website in early April.   If you are interested in joining the Academy or Blast Competitive soccer program after the team formation process has taken place (for example, your family has recently moved into town), please reach out to our professional staff to arrange next steps.
