tournament information

The top preseason tournament in the state of Colorado, the Broomfield Shootout, will be held August 7th-10th, 2025! Played at Broomfield County Commons, Highland Park, Westfield Village, Brandywine and Columbine Meadows, all locations will have a minimum of three fields on site to assure a good tournament feel and experience. 


As a preseason tournament, games will be slightly shortened to allow a build-up of conditioning for the upcoming season. Athletic trainers will be on site at all locations as well, thanks to our partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado. 


WHEN - Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, August 7th-10th, 2025


  • Play will begin at 4:00pm on Thursday and Friday. Games will begin at 8:00am on Saturday and Sunday.
  • We make every possible effort to schedule teams traveling from out of town for a Friday evening game only, thus avoiding an extra day of travel.
  • We take into account school start dates when scheduling Thursday/Friday games, and make every effort to avoid early start times and Thursday games for those in school.
  • The Broomfield Shootout is fully sanctioned by Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) and US Youth Soccer (USYS). 


WHO - Boys and girls teams in the following age groups: 


  • 2025 Fall U9 and U10 soccer teams (7 v 7). 
  • 2025 Fall U11 and U12 girls and boys competitive teams (9 v 9).
  • 2025 Fall U13 through U14 boys competitive teams (11 v 11).
  • 2025 Fall U13 through U19 girls competitive teams (11 v 11). 
  • Divisions will be formed based on competitive level of the teams accepted. Please indicate on the application form by answering the appropriate question correctly, especially where your team will be playing in the fall of 2025 to assist with bracketing of the tournament.
  • Entries may be accepted after deadline only if space permits.

  • Please pay particular attention when filling out the team application form to making sure you are registered in the correct age group. If it is discovered that your team is registered in the incorrect age group after schedules have been published, you may be disqualified from the tournament, and no refund will be available.


2025 Team Entry Fee- $995 U13-U14 Boys and U13-U19 Girls 11v11, $795 U11-U12 Boys and Girls 9v9, $595 U9-U10 Boys and Girls 7v7: 


  • Payment of Tournament Fee will be accepted by credit card online or by check or money order.
  • Check/money orders can be mailed to;

  • Entry deadline is July 21st, 2025. Late entries MAY be accepted after this date only to fill any open brackets.
  • A full refund will be provided to any team not accepted into the tournament. 
  • No refunds will be available once a team has been accepted.
  • If payment is received after the entry deadline of 7/21, a late fee of $50 will be charged and acceptance may be revoked.


Additional Information: 


  • 1st and 2nd place individual awards will be distributed in all divisions.
  • Weather cancellation refunds will only be considered if teams play less than three games. 
  • Communication from the Broomfield Shootout will be via email, facebook and website only. When filling out the team application form, please be sure that contact information is up to date, including that for the coach, team manager and team contact. Be sure to check email, facebook and the website often.
  • This year we are using gotsport as our tournament registration software.  Because this is not the software used by CSA, most teams will need to create a new team to register.  Please be sure to name your team the same as what it will be named in the upcoming 2024 fall season to make bracketing easier!
